Usually I would conduct a lesson in the manner that the student would provide some insight into topics and areas they would want to work on and I would supply sets of relevant questions and theory in order to help the student understand and master any difficulties. I use zoom for online calls and usually conduct lessons from 1 hour to 3 hours. I take questions from past GCSE papers, as well as topic questions from various verified educational websites in the UK. If the student is having trouble with a topic, I will go through the theory first and then attempt some questions to practice at the end what was learnt in the lesson, whereas if the student just wants to practice questions that is fine too. I conduct lessons with as much interaction as possible, usually letting the student attempt the question, and trying to guide them in the right direction if there are any problems so that the student learns the correct method, while still answering the question independently. Of course if the student would prefer to take a more general approach, then I am able to go through past papers as a whole.
