I've worked in this and related fields for my entire career and pride myself on being flexible and approachable. Having lived overseas, I know exactly what it's like to juggle being "a foreigner" with trying to learn a second language.

I've worked in languages for thirty years, initially as a translator from the Scandinavian languages to English and then as an editor of English for non-native speakers' Masters and PhD theses.

After graduation, I was a supply teacher for about 18 months in UK primary and secondary schools and thus have well-rounded experience delivering lessons and making them relevant and beneficial to the students.

I've also taught English, one-to-one and in groups to non-native speakers wanting to improve their English. Furthermore, I've given private lessons and adult education classes in Norwegian.
