A passionate tutor just freshly graduated from Imperial College Biochemistry, with first class honor degree. Experienced in exam preparation, built up from first hand experience in exams at A-level (4 A*s) and university. The lessons will be based on the exams you are going to take, with a focus on the progression you have in school at the moment. So the first thing we will do is to go through the forms of exams from the examination board, and then follow up from what you have already learnt and are learning in school classes. We will improve the understanding and fill in potential gaps in knowledge, with practices in answering real exam questions, and guidances in understanding the mark scheme and provisional answers. Lessons will either be online or at a public study space. PowerPoints with textbook knowledge, combined with relevant past paper questions, followed by provisional answers and marking schemes. All of this will help you to pinpoint key ideas in preparing and cracking your exams. If you like, university level teachings, with a focus on developing self study abilities, will be introduced as bonuses. I will also invite other Imperial graduates to give lectures in exciting fields like cancer, immunology, structure biology, which are all exciting ideas for your personal statement and university applications. We will also take you on a short tour in Imperial College, with coffees on me! You will develop and gain confidence in exams and future educations via hands on experience in cracking them.
