Professional GCSE Biology and Chemistry tutor, targeted at year 9-11. Achieved top grades in GCSE with experience in teaching

Divided into 3 main phases
1. Understanding - teaching students content by explaining concepts in a way they can understand. This is done by utilising the CGP textbook relevant to their exam board so they learn only the information they need for their exams, no unnecessary information

2. Memorisation - promoting effective revision techniques that utilise active recall and spaced repetition so students won't forget what they were taught - something I did when tutoring my own students as a private tutor and they all said it was very helpful, proven from improvements in their assessments.

3. Application - Exam questions which tests both understanding and memorisation. Will then mark with student and go through questions they got wrong - either they didn't understand the content so I would explain it to them again, or they were missing content so would ensure they understood and memorised the necessary information.
