Hi, I'm Joe, a Geography student currently studying at the University of Oxford. I come from a low income family and through hard work (and help) i managed to land myself a place at my dream university, and you can too! Having only recently completed my GCSE and A-Level qualifications (Grade 9 and A*) , i am well versed in the different types of teachings that are effective in helping students achieve high grades. Lessons will initially involve a chat and/or test to identify your weaknesses in the subject. I believe the most important thing is to first improve on these problems before tackling your stronger parts of the subject. Through online face to face meetings, we will be able to effectively improve your understanding of the subject and the different ways to answer each question type. I believe in transparency, and whilst i am obviously doing this for some additional money to help out at uni, i really want to help you achieve the best possible grades you can. Not a lot of people get this amazing opportunity of getting to a university such as Oxford, and i would love to share my knowledge with new prospering young minds, hoping to achieve something similar. I am also currently an Acting Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force, demonstrating my level of commitment, leadership and personable skills which are all needed to ensure my job as a tutor will be done effectively.
