My lessons are completely flexible depending on what area you are interested in developing your skills in. I believe that expensive gear is not necessary in music production, so free options for software, plugins etc will always be provided. For instance, if you want to make EDM music, I will take you through the fundamentals of electronic music, steadily introducing topics until you feel confident enough to continue on your own. If you're more interested in recording yourself as a singer / songwriter, I will take you through home studio techniques and self-recording tips until you're set up to self-produce your own stuff!

What we do in these lessons is totally dependant on your area of interest. If you want to be a generalist, then the lessons will involve a comprehensive curriculum which takes you through every essential aspect of music production. If you're simply interested in self-recording vocal tracks, then we will focus in detail on how you can get the best sound possible without spending money on gear. If you're interested in experimental, avant-garde composition and sound design, then we will focus on that aspect of music production.

Techniques such as composition / production games and challenges will be used extensively as a way of testing and strengthening your abilities. I have over eight years of production experience, and I strongly believe that the best way to learn is by practicing and challenging yourself rather than theorising and working hypothetically. I'm a keen music-obsessive who loves hearing any and all new music, so I'll always be happy to give you pointers on a piece.
