The way I teach varies greatly, as I focus on 1:1 teaching, I like to pinpoint what is best for individual students by analysing how best they respond to different methods, for example, visual learning and example teaching, or trial and error methods in which my students like to reach a more correct answer from their own mistakes.
Additionally, its important my students have a say in how they learn, it may sound cringey but I do believe the idea in kids (and adults!) heads that learning is boring is a massive hinderance to their performance; If one of my students thinks that an exercise is boring and they are just doing it because they have to... I want to know about it! I want to adapt and I will do my utmost to make sure they are finding the passion in what they are learning and being proud of themselves when they reap the reward of that.. their own success!
I am currently training to TEFL ( Teach English as a Foreign Language ) so, as a teacher, I would say I am patient, kind and, most importantly, really immersed with my students and their grades/ progress. I concern myself with their wellbeing alongside this as this is something that can massively affect someones willingness and desire to learn and work hard.
I am just involved with their work as they are and I want them to know that if they are working with me and passionately, I am just as proud as they are.
