Hi, I'm Jennifer! I'm an English-language nerd - and I have two degrees to prove it!

My diverse range of experiences growing up as a Third Culture Kid in international schools and throughout my eclectic career has been formative in my tutoring style. First and foremost, tutoring is about the learner, not the tutor. This means I want to take the time to understand you and find the particular way in which you learn best. Some people are visual learners, some learn through note-taking, and I want to adapt my tutoring style to those needs. At the end of the day, as much as we want good results, we also want to instil a love for learning. We want to find out how you thrive in a learning environment and keep you there.

Having the awareness of your own learning skill is really the cornerstone of any successful academic future. And while young kids do not need to worry about things like learning styles yet, what we can establish is the joy of learning. We can make lessons fun and engaging whilst also being results driven.
