Jennifer Dibble in a nutshell

I am a person that likes to reach all students and become very creative when it comes to my role as a learning facilitator. I can use Microsoft office, Google docs, and am willing to learn other platforms in order to communicate. A true goal of mine is to teach rigorous academic standards, but to do so with fun and engaging lessons. I truly believe that nothing can be learned if it is done under duress and stress. I expect a lot from my students but I also understand that learning can be a very pleasant, easy experience, and it is my job to create lessons that are dynamic.

I have 17 years of teaching experience of year olds, to adults, with all kinds of backgrounds and language abilities. I thought in Miami Beach for many years, and that was amazing because it was so diverse. I can speak Spanish at in an intermediate level. I love getting to know people from other cultures.

My lessons have multiple components. I like to use traditional sources such as books and compliment the traditional sources with more modern information that may be found on the web. I like to use software such as Kahoots so learning can be fun. I encourage my students to use the latest software to create original presentations. It is important that students know how to communicate in an effective way in front of people I will rarely give a standardized test unless it is a necessary component of the course. I prefer students show what they know, through, essays, and presentations.
