History can be fun! We discuss topics, make mind maps, and scaffold information to ensure you understand ideas and concepts well. We use different interactive platforms, such as Quizlet, to review vocabulary and basics. Once we are confident about the fundamentals, we make connections with what we already know with current events and apply knowledge to other disciplines, such as art, science, and technology. My idea is to question everything, including how we know what we think we know. I like to pose questions like: what impact did disease have on historical events? Or: how did spices determine our explorations and cultural interactions?
