Hi! I'm Jef, an undergraduate student of Chinese Studies with a passion for Chinese culture and language.

I am currently enrolled in the third year of the BA Chinese course at SOAS University of London, the first five months of which I spent taking intensive language classes at the National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. Having undergone such an immersive experience of language learning, I am now at an advanced level of Chinese proficiency.

I began my Chinese learning journey in secondary school, and therefore have a keen understanding of the structure and content of the Chinese language courses offered in British schools. I believe this understanding will allow me to support students to overcome difficulties and progress in their language learning.

Chinese language continues to inspire me, and I would be delighted to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of this subject with students as a tutor.
