I have been teaching Japanese in Japan for the past two years to international students and before that, teaching English in a variety of schools across Japan in a range of locations for three years. I have over five years lived experience in Japan and therefore extensive knowledge of and love for the Japanese culture. I want to take my lessons to a place of enjoyment where you can learn Japanese in a more natural context of the wider society. I plan to incorporate into your lessons, online video call sessions with native Japanese speakers to put your theory into practice and use the conversational Japanese you can learn in a natural setting. I am enthusiastic about meeting your goals and supporting you with your learning. I have been studying Japanese throughout my time living there and I am now level N2 in the JLPT and aiming towards taking the N1. I will guide you towards the best study methods, applications, dictionaries and textbooks to use to enhance your learning and explain grammar and comprehension points in either English or Japanese. It's up to you. I am open to adapting to the learning style suited to you. Also available to teach group lessons in person in County Tyrone, NI, or online. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
