I deliver a range of visual formats to support student learning with a focus on exam practice in every session. I build knowledge of students and then bring this understanding together to support a deep understanding of topics.
Students gain confidence with my teaching methods and my students see an increase in exam performance by at least 2 grades. Every student is unique and I adapt my resources for every student to suit their learning style.
I plan for all specifications of Biology and prepare students for each paper in turn using my own revision guides which are proven to bring success in exams
My resources help students to plan essays and bring all topic areas together so that they can confidently answer any essay topics. I use essay structures to make it easy to plan essays on every Biology topic. Students have said that the scaffolds have really helped them to write essays in exams and this alone has boosted their grade in the final exams.
Weekly online revision is the best way to study and embed knowledge into long term memory and my methods have been proven to work, with students gaining A and A* grades for the last 5 years.
I am flexible in my approach to lessons, with twice weekly, or once a week lessons depending on your preference.
