I seel to help students of all levels accomplish their English goals. I have extensive experience in General English, Business English, teaching functional skills for life, Cambridge examination prep, IELTS and TOEFL.

I am a teacher who believes that trust, empathy, patience and humour go a long way in helping a student accomplish their goals. In my 10 years of teaching I have stuck by those beliefs and I have helped a large amount of people succeed where they thought they couldn't. I believe in a 50/50 approach to teaching i will always provide you with my skills and patience but you will need to meet me halfway, without that it will just be a lesson where you sit back passively not learning, with me this will not happen.

A lesson with me will not be a lecture, it will be one where you will be doing most of the talking, I will guide you but I will empower by giving you the tools to produce. I am also very flexible and if you need someone to check your writing, help out with exams or something more bespoke, I can you help you.


I have a wide range of material for you to work with, from offical past examinations, books and listening material so if you would like something more structured we can work from those materials. If you want something more specific then I'm very flexible and will do my utmost to accommodate your needs.
