In my lessons the primary aim is to make learning as fun and engaging as possible. Lessons will follow a loose structure of a warm up activity, a main body of the lesson and a final activity to consolidate knowledge and understanding. This is achieved through many ways such as games, challenges, role play and free, open discussion. My lessons are a welcoming and supportive environment which I hope provides students with the perfect climate to learn!

In my previous experiences as a tutor I have faced many challenges. I have often found I am very successful at breaking down walls with students who might be shy, disengaged or reluctant to learn. I believe that the energy and fun that I can bring to a classroom not only makes learning more enjoyable but more effective as well. Currently, I am working towards becoming a level 5 qualified TEFL teacher. This means that I have a vast amount of resources at my finger tips that I can’t wait to put into practice.

Learning English can help open so many doors for so many people and I would relish the opportunity to be a part of making that happen. Outside of tutoring I have worked as a summer camp facilitator, tasked with engaging and supporting young people throughout their experiences.
