For me learning the guitar is ultimately about expressing yourself - whether that be through playing solos or writing songs, its a vehicle to say what you want to say. With this in mind there are key foundational things we need to learn first to allow that to happen. This could be learning chords, progressions or scales to help you better understand your musical voice. So the average lesson with me starts with identifying what you want to improve on - whatever your level and going from there - with the goal being that you have a great time and enjoy yourself. I work to help you achieve your goals, whilst creating a safe environment to help you explore that.

As guitarist for over 18 years I have played in a number of bands - recording and playing shows all over the country. These have been in numerous styles such as rock, pop, blues and punk. I have also recorded and played on several albums and EP by up and coming bands and artists in the UK scene. I am also a songwriter and have written for many bands as well as writing original music for my own band The Kid and I.

I have a HNC from the London Centre of Contemporary Music and a BA Hons Degree in Actor Musicianship, alongside over a year in teaching experience working in schools in London. I would bring all my training and experience into the lessons to help create a fun environment for you as the student!
