I'm a bright young woman who creates engaging tutoring sessions for her students. I discuss with the students/parents ahead of the session what particular topics the student struggles with and create lessons that teach the student the topic, followed by practice questions to ensure the student is confident in what they have learnt. The mix of visual teaching and practice questions has shown to benefit the student by learning the material and then practicing recalling it in an exam setting. I can also help with homework the student has been struggling with to ensure high marks in their school classes. I conduct my lessons online, usually using the computer application Zoom but this can be discussed. I am very flexible and can reschedule sessions if need be. I have 5 years of tutoring experience, amounting to 350+ hours, and have taught mathematics from year 3 (age 6) to GCSE (age 16), English literature from year 7 (age 11) to GCSE (age 16), science from year 7 (age 11) to GCSE (age 16), and geography from year 7 (age 11) to A-Level (age 18). I have also helped with grammar school entrance exams. My students' satisfaction is my top priority and I am happy providing feedback to the parents after every tutoring session. I want parents to understand what their child(ren) has been learning, how I have been helping, and how this will impact their studies. My dynamic, engaging lessons have helped some of my previous students' exam results go up by two full letter grades.
