Imogen

Hello!! My names Imogen, I specialise in chemistry, biology and psychology with over 2 years experience teaching GCSE students and even my own classmates during A levels! I aim to create engaging and concise lessons filled with quizzing and exam question practice to consolidate your child’s understanding of the content I have explained. In the first lesson I’ll aim to understand which topics and subtopics your child may struggle with using a document with these topics listed, I also ask for suggestions from the student of what they would like help on to boost there confidence. I ask for small amounts of homework to be completed weekly (usually in the form of exam questions based on the content we have been learning), I will mark these and also briefly ask some questions about that content each lesson to consolidate their understanding. I also send revision materials I used during my GCSE’s to help me achieve 9s in my specialised subjects and As at A level, as well as supporting your child in making there own resources tailored to there grade goals and keeping you up to date on what topics were covering in our lessons and how your child is doing. Ultimately, my goal is to help build your child’s confidence and boost there understanding so they can walk into those exams and achieve the best grades possible.
