I am a qualified language teacher. I have obtained my Bachelor of Art in Languages and Linguistics. I have also obtained my post graduate certificate in education. I have many years of experience tutoring both adults and children.
I love learning and teaching languages.
I prefer having fun interactive classes. I enjoy using different teaching methods, depending on my learner's individual needs. I love using songs, gestures, pictures and more to bring my lesson alive.
My target is not showcasing impressive contents, rather I focus on getting my learners to understand what I'm teaching and moving them up levels of language acquisition. It gives me great pleasure to watch my learners grow in their language journey.
I understand that learners are different, hence with different needs that must be tackled according to their peculiarities. I strive to understand what my learners' needs and language goals are, and then I work with them to achieve it.
Lessons are tailored to learner's specific needs. I believe in creating an inclusive class, in other words I respect learners' differences and opinions.
My lessons go from simple to complex. I practice as much as possible with my learners, in order to help learners use their language skills effectively.
