Hi there! I have been tutoring for 8 years. The best way of learning to drive is by sitting and driving inside the car. This is why my lesson is basically like a speaking club where you practice both listening and speaking.
In this way your language mistakes are corrected in a friendly and respectful way towards the end of the lesson.
For adults, we usually use market leader which allows us to learn speaking, listening, writing and reading skills simultaneously.
However, I also offer freedom and freestyle learning where the student is allowed to have hot discussion about the topics that interest him or her. This is the easiest way to have fun lessons not only for the positive emotions in learning but much more on how it helps in opening the student up and making the students gain enormous confidence and actually speak.
The experience I have had in tutoring cuts across practice with students at the early beginner stages to even the advanced stages.
Students in the beginner stages do not have any fear or discomfort basically when they get a good tutor that knows exactly how the feel at that level and offers them an easier step by step mentoring all the way up.
Students are allowed to ask any question at all in my lessons. No one is disrespected by their questions or ignorances, ni matter how silly they may sound.
