Students will be required to carry out homework tasks before each session so we can discuss in the lesson what they found difficult, highlighting areas to work on.

GCSE and A level Biology follows a strict marking system, so students will be made aware of the pitfalls that students often fall into.

I will make my personal techniques known, which encompasses areas of active recall and study techniques that I have acquired of the years.

The first part of the lesson will include discussion of the homework. The second part we will discuss the area we wish to work on and how to effectively answer each question. Therefore, practice questions will be provided. The last part of the lesson will include a summary of what was discussed and setting of homework for the next lesson.

The best way for each student to learn is to mix face to face study with personal study. This is especially important if the student wishes to go on to University level.
