Holly in a nutshell
Let's work together on this! We can start with an initial chat and find your strengths & weaknesses as well as your long term & short term goals.

From there we can make a plan of what the first lesson will entail. I am very student and goal orientated when it comes to planning lessons. I like to adjust every lesson specifically to the student themselves to get the best and most rewarding results...

I achieved the highest grades for English throughout High school and completed an A Level in English Language.

My academic accomplishments combined with my love for teaching and my current role as a teacher make me the perfect tutor to help you reach your maximum potential in English!

As a guideline here is a rough example of an English lesson with me:

1. Introduction to the Lesson (5 minutes)

Greetings

Objective: Set the expectations and outline the session.

2. Main Lesson: Self-Introductions/your topic of choice (20 minutes)

Objective: understanding of topic and relevant information.

3. Activity 1 (10 minutes)

Expanding knowledge on chosen topic.

4. Activity 2 (10 minutes)

Role-play: Take turns introducing yourselves using the diatopic. Putting knowledge into practice.

5. Vocabulary Building (10 minutes)

Objective: Expand the student’s vocabulary related to personal interests.

Practice: Use flashcards or pictures to reinforce new words.

6. Wrap-Up and Review (5 minutes)

Objective: Review what was learned and ensure understanding.

Feedback: Provide positive feedback and correct any mistakes gently.

7. Assign Homework (5 minutes)

Objective: Encourage practice outside the session.

Activity: Ask the student to write a few sentences.

This is a rough guide as to how I will conduct a general session - remember I will tailor every lesson to your specific needs so you reach your own goals as easily as possible.
