My lessons are dynamic and I like to cater for the style of learning depending on the student. History can be fun and engaging, it just depends how you approach it. For instance, students can learn a lot through films, documentaries and podcasts, as well as by making videos and reacordings for themselves, so they can listen to later. Students who are more srticstically inclined, enjoy drawings, mind maps and timelines, as the process of creating them will help retain the information more readily. These strategies are used during the elearnin stage, however exam technique is also important and something I focus on a lot, since knowing the information will not necessarily guaratee the marks and the student knows how to apply it to the question.
