I’ve been a tutor to a couple primary school kids before who’ve all achieved very good marks and grades in their sats in English and maths. I’ve helped a few adults too for a couple lessons to clear doubts and they’ve all said that my help was beneficial and they passed their exams because of me. My lessons will be structured by first understanding your weaknesses and work on them one by one and do small examinations to see if there was any improvement. If there wasn’t we’ll approach the subject in a different way if there was improvement we’ll continue to go to the next topic.
