My lessons will involve visual models and everyday contexts. We will explore problems and use reasoning skills to think in depth about mathematical concepts. This approach will help the student to understand the maths so that they can become fluent at applying it. I will use all my experience and specialist knowledge about how we learn maths to help the student understand and enjoy the subject. We will play games to help develop fluency and enjoy the learning. For best progress, I will expect the student to practise skills away from the lesson. Currently, I am able to offer online lessons or lessons in person at my home.
