When it comes to young people or children with an interest in learning languages, my experience has shown me that it is best to motivate with different activities in class where topics that may be attractive to the student are naturally suggested.
Activities such as games with different linguistic contexts, music and songs. Another example would be reading books appropriate to the level and age. Or even watch movies. All of them can be very motivating when learning a new language.
In my classes we will spend enough time on pronunciation, learning vowels and consonants, accents in Spanish, getting familiar with new sounds. Conjugating verbs and memorizing irregular verbs. Pronouns and gender are also important, as well as becoming familiar with complete sentences used in common language to start conversations with other people.
We can also dedicate some time to the culture and make the lessons a good way to get to know Spain.
