Hi! My name is Gerry, welcome to my Find Tutors presentation.

Whatever your level of musical expertise it is my goal to use my passion for music, technical knowledge and skills, industry, academic and life experience to be an inspirational and intelligent teacher.

I have a degree in Music and Audio Technology (Bournemouth University) where I obtained a 1st.

I hold a PTLLS Level 4 qualification and have completed a CTLLS level 4 course at Bournemouth and Poole College. This included teaching on a Music Technology Certificate course. I am an Associate Member of the IFL and have a DBS Certificate.

I have lecturing experience at Further Education level at Bedford College on a variety of programmes including BTEC Music Technology, BTEC Popular Music and City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2 Sound Engineering.

I have over 15 years experience in engineering, programming, composing and producing music using analogue and digital technologies on a commercial basis.

I have prepared music for commercial release via record companies, for radio adverts and jingles and television.

To help raise financial support for Amnesty International, Earth Love Fund and songwriter organisations worldwide I co-composed and recorded an entry for the Unisong International Song Contest. The song was recorded using guitar, keyboards and a computer running Logic software.
