I am a primary school teacher who loves helping children to achieve the very best.


I believe that every child learns in their own individual way and some children learn best on a 1-1 basis, one that they may not always be able to get in a school setting. Therefore, each lesson I provide will be tailored to the needs of the child and they will have the opportunity to ask questions, understand and be challenged in their work.

In my lessons, I will aim to teach in a way that best suits the individual. This will include modelling work, having conversations, demonstrations and giving the opportunity for work to be done. Anything that you, as the child, may be confused by will be revisited or taught differently to ensure it is engrained well.

Sometimes, children learn best by being practical so in some lessons it may be necessary to use equipment to help with the understanding of a particular concept. I aim to use this approach where necessary.

Before each session, it may be necessary for me to inform you of what the lesson entails so everything needed is gathered before this time. At the end of each lesson, I may send away some work to reflect on ready for our next lesson.
