George in a nutshell
I have no specific format in mind when you come to me. I take every student on an individual basis and the most important thing is that I make you feel that you are with a tutor who can cater to your specific needs. I'm fully aware of all the trials and tribulations that come with attempting to conquer a difficult subject, and I can compartmentalise whatever you are struggling with into bite-size...
I have no specific format in mind when you come to me. I take every student on an individual basis and the most important thing is that I make you feel that you are with a tutor who can cater to your specific needs. I'm fully aware of all the trials and tribulations that come with attempting to conquer a difficult subject, and I can compartmentalise whatever you are struggling with into bite-size, digestible chunks. I also like to keep my lessons as affordable as possible.

About me: I've used the strangeness of the past few years as an opportunity to travel, having been to Ukraine, the UAE, South Africa and Croatia over the past two years. I am based in London, although will sometimes be in South Africa. I love to read, write, and play the piano. I achieved good grades in all the subjects I have taken, including 9 A*s and 2 As at GCSE (I achieved A*s in English, Maths, and all three sciences), and 3 A*s at A-Level/Pre-U in English, History of Art, and Religious Studies. I also recently completed a bachelor's degree from The Courtauld Institute of Art. I am new to this website, but have experience tutoring from ages 11-22. Wherever I am and whatever I am doing, I always have my laptop, and will always be able to make time for you.

Whether you decide that I am the tutor for you or not, I wish you all the best in your desire to learn and be the best version of yourself. Just by looking for a tutor you are already more motivated than the vast majority of students.

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, and I hope to hear from you soon.

George helped me with an assignment on the difficulties the youth face today with reference to the book ‘Normal People’ by Sally Rooney. He had a great input with building a structure and using sociological themes throughout the paper to build my argument. I also found it very useful the academic articles he recommended!

George is by far one of the best tutors I’ve managed to find in a while. After a long search and trying various tutors, none of them were as good as him! He has really made me understand concepts in English I had previously struggled with and improved my grammar a lot. In addition, he made me feel as if anything was possible! The issues within my work which needed improvements he was able to point out and help me improve them massively in a way that wasn’t too critical, which was something I couldn’t handle from other tutors. George seems to have this natural gift in anything to do with English but is highly skilled in other areas too! Overall, Amazing service and terrific tutor!
