I have over 10 years experience as a professional photographer. As well as photographing, I am also a tutor in photography, creative media, videography and photo editing. There are so many ways to teach a subject. As I am creative media focused, I find visuals can really help focus and support learning. I am very patient, open and personable, and happy to go over anything you are unsure of until it makes sense! If there is a specific way you feel you learn best, I am happy to adapt to your needs!

In our lessons, we will discuss elements you want to cover, along with anything you know already. I bring handout cheat sheets for you to keep to allow as prompts once the lesson finishes. Once we have talked through the area covered, we will go out and practice what we have learnt. I would highly recommend continue practice outside of our lessons.

I have been tutoring for over four years and absolutely love it! I really enjoy watching my students flourish, particularly when they have had little confidence in the subject. I also have a First Class Honours Degree in Creative Media Practice, specialising in photography, and a PGCE (Art, Design and Media).

I also tutor and work with children who are out of school or struggling with subjects who have dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, autism, mental health and anxiety.
