I offer a way of learning that I wish had been available to me during my time at school and uni, beyond simple memorisation and regurgitation. I work with students to understand the method of learning that works best for them, and prioritise communication between myself and my student to ensure that both sides are satisfied with the teaching.
Since each student is different and requires different methods and content, it's difficult for me to outline what to expect in my lessons, but what I can guarantee is an increase in confidence in that subject. I appreciate that not everyone enjoys subjects to the same degree, I aim to introduce a way for the subject to become something to look forward to, rather than a chore.
I offer a range of subjects that I have completed and taught to different degrees as outlined in my ad, and am happy to teach more than one subject to a student if requested. I am also happy to use specific textbooks or curricula, or indeed use my own materials to construct a framework of teaching.
As a person, I am extremely patient and compassionate, while also offering a comfortable learning atmosphere without pressure or expectations. Additionally, I have experience in working with neurodivergent students, and the modifications that come with learning with these disabilities. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that the student learns through enjoyment and leaves a session with me triumphant in their knowledge.
