Lessons are prepared using current revision books initially. However, I prefer working in an unscheduled fashion, so although I may like to put together a lesson plan, I generally ask students which areas they feel they need to concentrate on, to enable them to fulfil their potential in a given subject. I feel it is important to allow students to lead the lesson, rather than me taking the lead, as engagement is key to any learning. It is therefore important to enable the student to identify their own particular areas of weakness, as this leads to a much more interesting lesson, when students are working on areas that they have recognised as needing assistance.
My lessons are very informal and designed to be fun. Lessons do not have to be rigorous and disciplined, as individuals perform much better in an informal environment.
My previous pupils have thoroughly enjoyed learning with me and have gone on to achieve the grades that they deserve. I have enjoyed being part of their journey and playing an important part in helping them achieve their dreams.
