I have one year experience of private tutoring secondary school age children from a variety of backgrounds in the Surrey and Middlesex area. The approach that I take to my lessons is spending our first session together identifying the areas in which you require the most help. This will be a mixture of you telling me any areas in particular as well as me observing you work through some past paper questions that cover a wide range of topics. After this, each session we will focus on a separate topic, starting with some questions briefly and then having an interactive teaching session before going back to the questions at the end of the session to see if you have learnt the topic well! Finally, at the start of each new session we will also have some questions on the topic that we have done in previous sessions to refresh it in your memory and to make sure that the knowledge isn't lost. I'm also keen to always receive feedback from you so that out tutoring sessions can suit you as much as possible as I entirely appreciate the same format doesn't work for everyone! My preferred format of tutoring is online over Zoom or Microsoft Teams, however I am happy to conduct in person tutoring sessions for anyone in the central and East London area.
