I give affordable English lessons to pupils as English as an additional language and primary-aged children or adults

I have a genuine passion for education and a strong desire to positively impact young learners’ lives. Teaching allows me to inspire and empower students, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Witnessing the growth and progress of my students brings me immense joy and fulfilment, which is why I am drawn to the teaching profession. I have 4 years of experience in early years shadowing teachers as they plan lessons considering how each lesson is tailored for a child’s attainment level and creating a sense of joy in learning about the community and their own social and emotional well-being that will enhance their academic performance. From shadowing a teacher to taking the lead by creating my own activities permitted by the teacher, I felt inspired to create change in society through teaching and creating opportunities that promote active learning, critical thinking and problem-solving.
