Fergus Walsh

I have recently been in education so know how lessons should be structured. There are a variety of methods that I believe are successful to teaching, such as drawings, explanations, talking, consolidation and presentations. These methods are useful to ensuring that the information that is being delivered is useful and pertinent to those that are being taught. I am a believer in delivering information in different ways to ensure that everything that is being taught can be retained and consolidated over time.

I was previously an English mentor at my school so have I have experience with teaching other people. I am proactive so always try to help as best as I can if something doesn't make sense or is potentially more challenging. My experiences are mainly with essay subjects like English Language and Sociology, however I also have a good amount of knowledge in other GCSE/A Level subjects so I am happy to help out in other subjects too.

Outside of education, I am part of cadets and have various qualifications in teaching content and delivering information in a clear and succinct way that benefits others. I have an interest in aviation and this is something that I wish to progress into in the future, so this may be of use to tutees too.
