Hi all,

My name is Fatima, I am a final year trainee Primary School teacher, a qualified personal trainer and a mother to a little girl. I achieved 9 GCSEs, 3 A*s and 6 As in Mathematics, English, Science, History, Graphics, ICT, Art and French. Additionally I completed A levels in Mathematics, English Language and Biology. I worked in digital marketing as an intern for a year. I enjoy learning and believe everyone, no matter how old, should be life long learnings and have a love for learning, it is up to me as a teacher to instil this into as many students as I can. knowledge is power and you can never have enough knowledge.

I have specialised and trained in working with children with Special Needs. I teach from Nursery to A levels. I teach english, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, RE, history, art and ICT. My teaching style revolves around adapting to my student's needs through the use of a variety of assessment methods (innovative, summative and formative). Frequently, communicating with parents and tracking student's progression. I believe respecting my students and creating a honest and open environment is essential for them to strive towards excellence. I am flexible, patient and professional, I always put the students learning first.

Initially, I will observe and assess my students in order to understand where the gaps in their knowledge are, I will create structured programmes consisting of real world understanding so students consolidate knowledge and are prepared for exams and real life. Pushing students to perform to their full potential and become confident academically. I have a deep understanding of the current curriculum, I can assist children with their course work and I can provide a plethora of exam and revision tips to ensure students are ready and will succeed.

I am a driven and passionate individual who believes all children can excel with the correct aid and guidance, it is becoming more difficult to find teachers who genuinely care for their students, I take authority with the results produced by my students and want to ensure they are not disadvantaged later on in life, creating a solid foundation academically will open many doors for my students to become successful and thriving individuals.
