Hi there!
I have a degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

I am well versed across many forms of psychology. Of course, I am experienced in general/introductory psychology. Additionally, I can help on the more research based side of psychology within research methods, APA formatting, submitting research proposals to review boards, and psychology based statistics. Other focus areas I can help with include: neuroscience, human sexuality, abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, adolescent psychology, psychology and law, psychology and religion, psychology and gender, neurodiversity, social psychology, and (of course) counseling psychology.

In my time working within the psychology field I have worked on multiple research projects, worked in counseling centers, worked in schools, worked alongside neurosurgeons, lawyers, and therapists. Most recently, I had my first independent research study published this past May.

I have worked as a tutor in the past for children as young as five years old and as a tutor at my university for fellow students. I have an assortment of different studying strategies, mnemonic devices, and helpful visuals that aid in grasping difficult concepts. I aim to get to know my students learning styles and craft the lessons around what works for each person. I understand learning is not one-shoe-fits-all, so we will find what works and build from there.
