I am a second year student, studying English at the university of Nottingham and so, having relatively recently completed English at GCSE level and A level, I have a full understanding of the requirements of these courses which I believe I am equipped to teach, still experiencing student life and so immersed in learning processes that I feel compelled to share. My approach to teaching is intended to meet the technical requirements of the course but also provide a springboard for individual creative interpretation, which I feel is more important to excel in terms of grades and beyond, through fostering a safe, encouraging connection and atmosphere
