My goal, as a teacher, is to share this process, focusing on subject matter in my area of expertise, using current teaching tools

I am a dynamic, proactive, dedicated, and professional instructor who has done a great deal to promote my skills to become an expert in my field. I embrace learning, career and life with energy, passion and positivism and am driven by a need to succeed and empower the disadvantaged. I believe success is self-fulfilment and contentment. I have a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, coupled with the talent and ability to connect with my students to teach from simple concepts to the more advanced topics. My long experience within the pressure filled hospitality industry has made me a very level-headed person who can handle a variety of situations. I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the drive and ambition to rise to a new challenge. I am actively involved in all aspects of learner development, including curriculum development, student career preparation, and community activities. By combining a strong passion for English, my technical knowledge and experience, I possess the ability to motivate and inspire students by creating an enjoyable and challenging learning environment. My personal values are steeped in Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, and core Family values. These are key elements to my existence that I live by, expecting the same of those around me. Having a balance of home, work and play is important to me, in my roles as a parent, learner, educator and leader.
