I am an enthusiastic English Teacher with more than ten years of experience whose methodology is based in a student-centred class that allows students to “discover the class contents by themselves. I design and plan my own activities which I adapt to the needs of every student.
Regarding my qualifications, I’ve recently completed a one-week teaching training course for Vaughan Systems; I obtained the CELTA degree in August last year, at International House (Madrid), and I obtained the Cambridge Proficiency (CPE) degree in 2021.
Concerning my experience, I have spent the last ten years working as an English Private Tutor giving face-to-face and online lessons for all levels and ages; I also have experience giving courses in academies for the Cambridge Examinations (KET, PET, FCE, CAE), as well as online and “hybrid” classes for the students who needed them through ZOOM or GOOGLE MEET; furthermore, I worked in a Bilingual School as an English Instructor, teaching extracurricular activities to Third Grade students as a way of reviewing their English lessons. Apart from that, I worked as an Instructor in an English Summer Camp teaching English through different kinds of games.
I believe in a dynamic method that encourages students to learn through games so they can enjoy their lessons. I consider myself patient, trustworthy and depending on the situation a team leader or a team player. I both know when to take charge and also when to support my fellow workers; overall I’m a person who gets along well with people.
