I have an extensive knowledge of the expectations of each year group as well as how to adapt my teaching to suit the needs of different ages and different learning needs. As well as classroom based teaching, I also have experience tutoring for the 11plus exam, phonics and Year 6 SATs preparation.

My approach to teaching focuses on the belief that a strong foundation of knowledge is key. For learning to be effective, sessions needs to be engaging with opportunities for meaningful application of what has been learnt - enjoyment is vital for successful learning! My teaching is adapted to suit the needs of each individual child, so as to address gaps in knowledge and to make their tutoring experience personalised to them. I always have high expectations for all my pupils and am passionate about enabling them to achieve their full potential!
