11+ Tutor offering English, Maths, VR and non-VR

I am a primary teacher with 27 years experience in tutoring all primary aged children up to and including 11+.

I have also had much experience in working with children with SEN; dyslexia, autism and ADHD. I am passionate about inclusion and believe it is at its most effective when parents, class teachers, SENDCos and tutors work together. By being creative and flexible in my thinking, I believe that the right combination of differentiation, strategies and therapeutic interventions can give neurodivergent children every opportunity to fulfil their potential.

I prefer to tutor 1 - 1 / face to face and I believe that building relationships between pupil and tutor is key to the success of the sessions.

Rather than have back-to-back clients, I choose to be selective and to work with no more than 3 students a day; making sure lessons are well prepared, resourced and followed up afterwards with parents.
