Emma Shardlow

I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Double First Class degree in BA English. I am greatly passionate about the power of education to expand opportunity and broaden a student's horizons and believe that learning is best achieved through active engagement and interactive activity rather than rote study. I produce tailored and easily accessible lessons that help to boost the self-confidence of the student and encourage proactive learning.

I have experience of tutoring GCSE and A-level English Literature and GCSE English Language with all of my students seeing an improvement by at least one whole grade in their exam results. I have also provided successful Oxbridge application tuition with all three of my students receiving offers from Oxford or Cambridge.
