I tutor online using engaging, interactive lessons. I am very creative and I’m always on the look out for different apps and teaching methods to achieve my students’ goals. I incorporate my students’ interests and take into account their strengths and difficulties. Building great relationships is key and I use humour, personalisation and understanding to do this.

I am an experienced primary teacher with 10 years experience in Mainstream and Steiner Waldorf schools, where creativity is emphasised which suited me wonderful. I tutor KS1, KS2, 11+, KS3 and GCSE Maths and English, 1-1 and in groups. I love the challenge of adapting to different students’ needs and motivations. I have experience in working with children with different learning needs, including ASD, ADHD and anxiety.

I love teaching Creative Writing in particular - this is my passion and was part of my BA and the University of Nottingham. I am passionate about making reading exciting and enjoyable as possible for students. I also have a specialism as part of my PGCE in Maths.

In my free time I write, make teaching resources, hike, run, read, make crafts and cuddle my cats (who will probably make an onscreen appearance).
