My Teaching Approach

Individualized Instruction: I recognize that each student learns at their own pace, so I personalize my teaching approach to meet the unique needs, learning styles, and musical goals of each student.

Foundational Techniques: Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student, I focus on building a strong technical foundation through posture, bowing techniques, and hand positions. A solid technical base is key to making progress on the violin.

Music Theory: Understanding music theory is essential for improving your playing and becoming a well-rounded musician. I integrate theory lessons into practice to help students understand rhythm, scales, and musical notation.

Fun and Creative Lessons: Music should be enjoyable! I incorporate fun exercises and pieces from different genres to keep lessons exciting and challenging. I encourage students to experiment and explore their creativity.

Advanced Students: For advanced learners, I focus on refining technique, advanced repertoire, and preparing for exams or auditions. I also encourage them to engage with orchestral or ensemble playing to expand their experience.
