I teach online using a range of resources including presentations, whiteboards, illustrations, games, videos and activities. I am lively and engaging whilst respectful of different students needs and was voted the University of Cambridge Zoology Departments best student supervisor for Michaelmas 2023 for this reason.

I work with students to understand their overall goals and needs from tutorials so that I know what direction to shape my teaching methods. I never put students on the spot or make them feel uncomfortable but I do nurture and encourage active engagement where it works for the student. I want what is best for the student to help them achieve their goals.

My teaching methods seek to blend the curriculum into real world applications, ensuring that my students know why this knowledge is important and useful beyond an exam. I also have a wealth of experience in advising and nurturing University applications including Oxbridge and Russell Group Unis.

I have experience teaching Geography in Secondary Schools from ages 11 to 18 as well as supervisions to Undergraduate Students at the University of Cambridge. I also have 5 years of experience working with students with special educational needs from neurodiversity to complex health needs. I am therefore flexible and adaptive to what my students need.

Beyond school environments, I have worked in conservation organisations from London Zoo to Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and on projects from wildlife conservation to climate change science.
