My initial session with you will be a diagnostic, tailored to your specific needs. During this session we will work through some questions, and identify areas for improvement. Each session from there on will be planned based on the individual, and appropriate homework set to cement the knowledge gleaned from each lesson.

My approach to teaching will also vary, depending entirely on the needs of the individual. I am passionate about "leveling the playing field" in terms of supporting people to achieve, as I believe that a good education should be accessible for everyone.

My experience includes tutoring people with common conditions such as ASD, Dyslexia, and ADHD. I have also worked the survivor of a serious brain injury, and survivors of serious abuse (many of whom were in the care system). I have an in-depth understanding of the ways in which such trauma can impact the ability to learn, and always try to take a strengths-based approach to tuition. I find that this approach positively maximises the outcome for the learner, building their confidence in approaching new challenges for years to come!
