Hello! I’m Ela.

My lessons will be slideshows with visual imaging for beginners and basic English speakers covering animals, plants, familial relationships, place names, numbers, past/present/future tenses, verbs and adjectives. Reading and writing will also be covered. You may choose to skip some if you are confident in your proficiency so I can tailor it more to your preferences.

Intermediate and advanced English speakers will learn casual British English and any necessary formalities to help them form personal bonds and professional relationships. This is especially great for exchange students and those looking to move abroad for work. We will cover different careers and specialised terms, appropriate language for formal affairs as well as slang used in Britain, the United States and Canada. These lessons are fairly flexible and can be personally tailored to your needs. All students must write a short essay to confirm your proficiency detailing why you have decided to learn English and your plans for the future (this can be anything from dream career, ideal house and overall life. Your life goals matter! I will help you learn whatever is relevant to you.)

All students will also be doing essays of varying lengths and short quizzes after the recap lessons at the end of each subject to make sure you are progressing at a pace you are comfortable with.

English can be a tough language to understand so getting help from a native speaker is always useful. There are often times where phrases can be understood multiple ways so we will cover contextual clues to help you figure these out.
