My lessons will be tailored to suit the needs of each individual student. I do not believe using the same method for all students is effective as everyone learns differently. I will use a variety of study techniques from flash cards, to powerpoints and from mind maps to weekly summaries. I believe this will be effective as from all my experience being a student this is what has proved to work best for me and my peers and what has ultimately allowed me to excel in my studies. When choosing what study techniques work best for the individual student I look at their strengths and weaknesses or what potentially worked in the past. I strive to make my lessons educational, engaging, enjoyable and of an excellent standard. I will aim to suit each student’s schedule and structure my teaching in a way that aids understanding. Additionally, I will ensure that the layout of my lessons are visually consistent and that each topic flows from the previous one. The way I carry out my lessons allows students to learn at a pace suitable to them, the last thing you want is to feel rushed or pressured! Overall, my style of teaching, variety of study techniques, layout of information and experience coupled with my consistency and determination, will ensure that each individual student reaches their full potential.
