Hello

I’m a South African guitar player who plays non professionally but who plays in bands and jam sessions. I love guitar playing and I’m happy to share my passion with others.

In our first few lessons we’ll take focus on building the basic foundations of guitar playing. This will include the following:

- learning the musical alphabet, including the names of notes, scale degrees and intervals, and how to find all the notes in your guitar

- we’ll take a closer look at scales, what they are and how they function

- we’ll look at chords, what they are and how they are constructed

- we’ll take a look at some of your favourite songs so that you can learn how to play them and understand the theory behind them!
